We were so excited to head to Florida for our first ever cruise. We left Saturday the 14th and arrived in Ft. Lauderdale at 1am. It was a long day spent at the airports. We checked into our hotel and crashed. The next morning it was time to head to the ship! It took a little while to make it through the boarding lines, get our ship id and we were finally able to board!

I can't even imagine living right next to the ocean like these houses. I bet they cost a fortune too! I bet it's fun watching the ships come and go.
This is the last bit of land we will see until tomorrow morning! It's amazing how you can see buildings all down the coast line.

Our quaint room. It had a veranda which I loved! It was so peaceful to go sit out there and watch the water go by.
Our first stop was Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. I must say this was my favorite beach. The sand was white and the water blue-er than blue. We walked the shore line a few times this day and soaked up lots of sun!
