#3. How long have you been married? 11 years 2 months and 22 days

#4. What is one thing he does that surprises you? We have been married so long NOTHING surprises me anymore!! ;-)

#5. What is your favorite feature about him? Right now it is the season for his beard to grow out and I think he looks so HANDSOME with it!

#6. What is your favorite quality about him? That he can put up with my insanity!

#7. Does he have a nickname for you? I think it would be BABE! Cuz HELLO... it is true!

#9. What is his favorite food? Jason HATES to eat! I have to force him to most of the time, sad for me because I LOVE to eat!! If I had to choose I would say anything homemade, he does like my cooking at least!

#11. Who said "I love you" first? Honestly, I don't remember!

#12. When and where was your first kiss? This is HILARIOUS! We were on our way home on our second date and by then we already knew we were MFEO, and he leaned over just as we were rounding the corner to my house in the car and he leaned over and gave me a sloppy kiss on the cheek! He said later that it was because he was worried my parents would be upset if he kissed me at their house! Too funny!

#13. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? We love to watch movies, go camping and just being together with our kids.

#14. Do you have any kids? Well, in our hearts we will always have 7 special ones! The ones we get to love forever are our two crazy kids, Austin and Karlee. We absolutely ADORE them!

#15. What is a hidden talent of his? He is a really good singer.

#17. What do you admire most about him? That he is such a hard worker, and though he may work a lot the only place he would rather be is here at home with us!

Go Utes!

Yesterday Karlee got to be a mini cheerleader with our niece Whitney at the U of U game! Karlee was so excited about this! She was beside herself silly all day! Aren't my cheerleaders the most adorable you have ever seen!?!?

We got some really good seats to watch Karlee's BIG debut as a cheerleader!

I even got to follow Karlee and Whitney out onto the field to get these great pictures of her in action! What a big place to be at the age of 4 to dance! I was very surprised that Karlee didn't even get stage fright! I know I would have!

Unfortunately our seats were by the CSU supporters and they were quite the bunch! For the most part they kept it clean and we were able to enjoy the game without a riot!

Austin was so funny when the Utes would score! He was screaming and cheering so loudly, the CSU fans behind us got a good laugh at his sportsmanship for the team! The Utes won 49-16 when all was said and done! It was so much fun we are considering season tickets for next year!

Grandma's visit and hair do's

We had the awesome privilege of spending time with Jason's Mom this weekend! Saturday we took Mom out to dinner and found out that it was her anniversary with Marv who just passed away! Sad!! They would have been married 53 years! I couldn't believe we didn't know! She has been doing really well since he has been gone, she of course has her moments but for the most part she is doing amazing! She has started driving herself to church and to the grocery store. I think she really enjoys the independence she has found. She is such a neat woman! We invited her and my niece Chelsea to dinner Sunday. She brought her delicious chicken noodle soup! We had such a good time spending the weekend with Jason's mom!

Here are some new styles that I have done on Karlee's hair! I think the hair blogs I have been looking at have inspired my creative genius!! It has been fun doing something new!

Hair do's

I have been looking at little girl hair do's on some fun blogs to get new ideas for Karlee's hair! You would think that as a hairdresser I would be more creative..... um no! I wish! It has been so much fun getting new ideas! I did this one on Sunday. It took about 20 minutes, and Karlee wasn't too happy with me but it turned out way cute!

This is the one that I did this morning. It went A LOT quicker than sunday's do.

Emergency!!!

We had quite a fun night last night at the emergency rooom. Karlee has had a cold the last couple of days and Wednesday I took her into the doctors because she was really congested, well the doctor said she was fine that she had a virus and her body was doing well taking care of it. Not so apparently!! Yesterday she got up and sounded even worse! We went to her field trip for preschool and she didn't even want to stay! She ended up with a fever, I gave her some motrin and she seemed a little better. Later that day Austin came home from school and she decided she wanted a nap, she woke up like 20 minutes later and was weezing and couldn't catch her breath!! So into the car we went and drove straight to Primary Children's emergency room! She had another fever and then threw up a little. They gave her a breathing treatment and some steroids to treat croupe. Poor Baby!! We got to stay for about 3 hours to make sure the treatment was working and that she would start feeling better..... thank heavens she did! We got to go home and she is doing much better! Today she is acting more like the crazy 4 year old that she really is!

Going to the Zoo and getting a haircut!

We went to the zoo last friday and had so much fun! We got to ride on the new carousel and the kids thought that was great!

Yesterday I got to baby sit Ali and Emma and we had so much fun! I cut the girl's hair and then Ali pretended to be a hair dresser like me! It was so cute! I think she will be a great hairdresser!

She takes her job very seriously! She is such a cutie, and Emma was just as cute pretending to be Cinderella in Karlee's Alice in Wonderland costume!
