Football!

Austin started football on Monday this week and it has been so fun to this point. He has gotten his pads and helmet and has learned a lot so far. I just had to get some pictures of him, he looks so grown up in his uniform!

Jason showed Austin some football moves so he would be ready for tackling yesterday. It was fun to watch Austin try and knock his ol' man over!

This is going to be fun! I am excited to see him learn a new sport and hopefully not get hurt this season!

Hill Air Force Base Museum

We went to see the airplanes yesterday up in Ogden. It was a lot of fun! The kids couldn't believe how big the planes were up close. My favorite part was the fighter jets that they have inside.
Here are some of the kids. Aidan, Hunter, Karlee, Mason and Emery. Austin, Jaden and Carston wouldn't hold still long enough for most of the pictures. They were having too much fun running from plane to plane!

As you can see Karlee and Mason are holding hands. Mason has said for a long time that when he grows up he is going to marry Karlee! Too cute!

Here is one of the few pictures I got of the older boys! As you can see Jaden is walking away as I'm trying to snap a shot. At least I got Austin and Carston!

Taking a break from the heat.

This plane has the name Audrey on it. Before we had kids this was one of the names I had picked out for a little girl we might have in the future. Unfortunately we didn't (have our own kid) and my sister Tina used this name for her daughter. I'm glad someone got to use it!

Looking at these planes made me want to watch a little Top Gun! Highway to the danger zone kept going through my head. I even sung a little out loud to make Trina laugh!

I couldn't help but snatch a couple pictures of the new love birds. I think I'm in a bit of trouble when Karlee gets older!!

I don't think these kids stopped holding hands the whole day!

This was cool, they had a chair like what you would sit in on one of the planes and you could try it out yourself. The kids thought this was pretty cool!

We had a really good time there and I'm sure we'll make another trip in the future!

Happy Birthday Austin!

Happy Birthday my handsome boy! I can't believe you are 9! You have grown so much this last year. Your willingness to try hard, to be good, to think of others has been so great to see. We love you so much and your Dad and I want to wish you the Happiest Birthday today!

Austin and Logan

Last night we celebrated Austin and Logan's birthday's with my family. Since yesterday was Logan's official birthday he chose where to have it. He picked his favorite park by his house. Aunt Tina made a yummy ice cream cake for the boys to share and blow out the candles. Fun was had by all who came. Even Grandma Vickie was feeling like a kid again!


After the party Aunt Tina had invited all the cousin's to spend the night at her house. What a brave sister I have! Apparently Austin and Logan stayed up until 2:00am playing! This morning the kids played outside on the trampoline and on a fun slip n' slide. They came home exausted! But I didn't care! I wanted to see the new movie "UP" at the theatres so off we went. We even saw it in 3D, it was such a fun and cute movie! I even cried...I'm such a sap!

We look pretty sweet in those 3D glasses don't we?!?! It was a really fun end to a day!
