Thanks to Sarah for putting this together! It was totally unexpected.  I feel so grateful to all of you who came! Blake is one lucky guy to have so much love shown to him and us! It was a crazy night and so much fun. We got spoiled rotten and Blake has plenty of clothes and diapers to last us a while!

What I've been up to lately!

This is Blake. He is our son we are fostering to adopt! Keep us in your prayers that it will go as planned. We are so excited to have him in our home. He is the sweetest baby boy ever!

Doughnut Falls

I think our family's new favorite hobby is going up to the canyons and finding some sort of hike to do! Our good neighbors Cody and Danielle invited us to go with them to Doughnut Falls Sunday. The kids had so much fun! I almost peed my pants laughing at Austin trying not to fall into the water. He fell in so many times he said his feet hurt from being cold. Poor kid! And all his Mom did was laugh at him.

Sunday

 Sunday we decided to take the kids up the canyon to see the fall leaves. Sadly they aren't very brilliantly colored this year. :( We had fun in spite of it though! We built a fire and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows for smore's! It was so fun. I still even have the lovely campfire smell in my hair.

Saturday's Fun

Saturday night last weekend we went to a Bee's game with some long time friends. In prior years it was always a camp trip, then we all sold our trailers and no one wants to tent it anymore. This year we thought we'd try the Bee's game. It was so much fun! I think Jason and I stood in line for food more than we saw the game. It was so crazy with people that night! The lines were ridiculously long.

Moments

As I'm sitting here in a quiet house I can hear the school bell ring and I think "Geez I miss my kids." I can't believe that school has already started again. Where did my summer go? We had such a great time as a family the last few days of summer vacation together. I will start with Thursday of last week. As I think most of us know Jason has been working an insane amount of hours at work for a huge project his company was working on. Well Thursday it was finished and guess who came home early from work?! You got it, Jace made it home in time to come with us to Austin's football practice. We had a special surprise for the kids on Friday and niether of us could wait to tell them. Jason had arranged to take Friday off so that we could take the kids to Lagoon. They have been asking all summer to go and luckily I got some sweet $24 per person discount tickets to go. So, Friday morning as the kids are getting up and eating breakfast Austin asked if Dad went to work. Well I told a little white lie and said yes he had to. Well a little while later Dad comes out of his bedroom and says....."What should we do today? I decided I'm not going to work!" Of course this surprised the kids and they were so excited to throw out idea's of what we could do for the day. It took a few try's but finally Austin said Lagoon. Jason said ok and the kids went wild with excitement! Here are a few pictures from our fun day at Lagoon!
