Kindy~garten!

It's official. My baby girl has started Kindergarten. She was so excited and scared this morning. She kept telling me that she wanted to go but was scared to leave me. Sweet!! I even held it together this morning. I'm not saying that I didn't tear up a little bit, but I definitely didn't full on cry! Karlee found her friend Norah from preschool and played with her before school and at recess. Yay for friends!

I love the little girls face standing next to Karlee! She doesn't look quite so happy to be there!

Ha ha ha! Karlee had a great first day and she can't wait until tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Jace!!

Happy birthday to the best dad, husband and friend I know! I love you so much and hope you enjoy your day. Thank you for always making us laugh, keeping us in line, and working so hard for our temporal and spiritual needs. You are such a hard worker and I hope our kids learn this from you. I love being your wife! You always keep me on my toes with your shinanigans!

Back to school!

Back to school on Monday. I thought I was ready but I wasn't! Though it's been nice that the kids aren't fighting and Austin isn't complaining that he's bored, I am not ready for the schedule of getting up early and getting the kids in the mode of routine. Austin had a great first day and he really likes his new teacher. I can't believe he is in the 4th grade already! He is getting so tall!
Karlee's official first day isn't until next Monday. She did however get to meet her teacher on the first day of school for the other kids and do her assessment testing. She was so excited to tell her Dad when he got home that she was smart. Dad asked her who told her she was smart and she gladly replied, " My teacher did!". I am excited for her to start kindergarten, she is definitely ready for this big step. I however don't know what I'm going to do without my shadow. It will take a few days to get used to being without her!

Bee's Game

Saturday night Austin's baseball team had the honor of going to the Bee's game and be on the field during the flag ceremony before the game started. Austin was so excited! This is the team out on the field, Austin is number 22.The kids got to introduce themselves and what position they play. Here Austin is on the Jumbo-tron! I love that you can't see his face because of his hat. So funny!

After they introduced themselves they went onto the field into their positions that they played.

Austin had an awesome view of the soldiers presenting the flad during the national anthem. Very cool! The Bee's won Las Vegas 8-3 followed by some awesome fireworks! It was a great night for Austin and I'm glad he was able to enjoy it!

Soccer!

Saturday Karlee had her first soccer game. I love watching this age play, they have no clue where they are going they just want to kick the ball! She was so excited about it, and asked all week long when her first game was going to be.

Karlee did such a great job. She even made a goal!! (It was in the other's teams net but it still counts right?!?!) I am glad that she is willing to try something new and have so much fun doing it!

First Scrimmage!

Austin had his first scrimmage with the D team in our league the other day. It was a lot of fun to see Austin use the new skills he has learned! He is really having a good time learning football.

12th Anniversary!

For our anniversary this year we went up to Park City. It was beautiful and we had such a good time together. Park City was holding the Arts Festival so we went downtown to see it all. It is so neat up there! Here are some of the pictures we took. Most of them are of the houses and scenery you see as you drive towards Main St., Park City. Amazing! The Happy Couple! 12 Years and still going strong!

It was a well needed get a way for the both of us. I love Jason more than anything and I am so glad we have forever to be together! I love you sweetie!
